Made by Google Event: What to expect

Leaks have suggested that the upcoming Pixel 8 model is expected to be available for €799 (roughly Rs. 70,200) and the Google Pixel 8 Pro could start at €1,099 (roughly Rs. 95,700). According to reports, the Pixel 8 series, Pixel Watch 2 and the new Pixel Buds Pro will be available for pre-order on e-commerce platform Flipkart after the launch.

Recently, a WinFuture report also revealed press versions of the upcoming Pixel devices. According to WinFuture, the Google Pixel 8 is expected to feature a 6.17-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.

According to reports, the Pixel 8 is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices have the Google Tensor G3 chipset.

Also, the Pixel 8 is expected to have two storage options – 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, paired with 8GB of RAM, while the Pixel 8 Pro is rumored to have three storage configurations – 12GB + 128GB storage, 12GB + 256 GB storage and 12 GB + 512 GB storage.

Coming to the Pixel Watch 2, Google’s next-generation smartwatch features a Snapdragon W5 Series chip, a larger 306mAh battery, and a 1.2-inch circular OLED display.

During the event, Google will also roll out the Android 14 update to all eligible Pixel phones, bringing new features like a more colorful Material You, improved accessibility settings, and more.
